Why fire strikers?
For those not in the know; I am, amongst other things, a scout leader and like any true scout my favourite activity is bushcraft, particularly fire lighting
It’s always a popular activity with the scouts so when they graduate up to Explorers I like to make them each a gift to remember their time in scouts and to hopefully continue their bushcraft skills.
Each fire striker is made from the same wood I use to turn my bowls. Each will have a unique shape and grain pattern.
My fire strikers are perfect for the Cub, Scout, Guide, Army Cadet or outdoors person in your life.
